Welcome to my website!  Its name reflects the subject matter that has remained my primary interest since graduating from Ball State University--namely, agency and responsibility.
After working in Indianapolis Public Schools for three years and earning my M.A. in Philosophy at the University of Wyoming, I started working on a Ph.D. in Philosophy at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  Finally, I'm set to defend Spring 2015!!

Currently, I am the Assistant Director at the Robert J. Kutak Center for the Teaching and Study of Applied Ethics (Ethics Center).  I am also Director, Jean Cahan's Research Assistant at the Harris Center for Judaic Studies.  In the summers, I join the faculty at the University of Wyoming as a Visiting Instructor of Philosophy.

Though I enjoy exploring the mountains, forests, waters, and cities throughout the U.S. and abroad, my heart lives in the Midwest.  I imagine I won't always live in the so-called fly-over plains, but I will forever enjoy its four-season rhythm and its hardworking melody.
